Tired, but Still Super Genki!
Wow, yikes I am tired beyond words, but in trying to keep this blog from its idleness I thought it best to give a brief update on where I have disappeared to for all my secretive blog viewers. Put simply; wedding anniversary, moved house, booked a two-week ticket back to London for the summer, work-work-and-work, and watched the Wimbledon tennis championship tournament. Despite all that, I even had time to write my first ever haiku (short Japanese poem with 17 syllables in total – 5,7,5). Well, it’s not Matsuo Basho material but it’s a fine start to what I hope and intend to be one of many.

Ciao for now, or should I say… dewa dewa mata ne!
Yes, you caught me in the act. I have marked the date of your arrival in London on my diary. You should definitely come down to Sutton to see my family. I know your schedules are fully booked.. bur why don’t you sleeep over here your friend’s own house.
Great! Sounds like a nice idea indeed. Send me your details via e-mail and I will contact you when I get back to London!
