It’s been a long week indeed! The first term of the school year has finally finished, the summer humidity is really beginning to settle and the semi have awakened from the depths of the earth – literally! I managed to sneak into Tokyo to visit an old friend to which we played billards (sorry, I kind of suck at this game but then it doesn’t help when you’re not really too interested to play it to begin with), lovely lunch at Outbacks, a walk through Shibuya, bought the time commerative special edition of Michael JacksonĀ  (it was the first time in Time’s history to have their magazine dedicated to one individual), and had a spot of Karaoke fun. I was slightly shocked but not surprised to see that at the Karaoke desk you can collect a free 500 yen (about 3 pounds) coupon ticket off for a lovel hotel. On the back a map from the Karaoke to the love hotel was conveniently drawn on the back. Classic stuff indeed! Only in Japan. Apart from that, just been chilling out with the family, having fun, preparing trips for the summer and getting ready for my trip back to London (25th July – August 10th… so I won’t be updating my blog during this time period). It will be the first time to visit London in over two years and so I am interested in seeing how much I have changed and how much London has changed. I am soo looking forward to seeing many of my friends and family… and on that note I will leave you with some photos that I took during the past week.
